The gamigo group Expands its Publishing Operations Team

Global Publishing at gamigo will be lead by Andreas Weidenhaupt, Beco Mulderij, and Timothy Loftus.

Hamburg, Germany, May 27, 2019 - gamigo is excited to announce the expansion of its publishing branch. Andreas Weidenhaupt (Senior VP Publishing) is now responsible for the global marketing operations of the online games publisher. The games industry veteran is bringing aboard Beco Mulderij, as Director of Marketing & PR, and Timothy Loftus, as Head of Community Management.

"With Mulderij and Loftus, we have got two incredibly talented managers joining gamigo. After acquiring Trion Worlds and WildTangent, we took on a great responsibility to our stakeholders, investors and players alike. Our portfolio must be marketed as best as possible. With this expanded team, this is now guaranteed," said Andreas Weidenhaupt, Senior Vice President of Publishing.

Weidenhaupt can look back on 15 years of experience in the games industry. Before joining gamigo, he acted as CMO for International Marketing at My.com. He is also the founder of Frogster Online Gaming and Infernum, making him well-versed in publishing related operations.

Mulderij has taken over the Marketing and PR departments at the gamigo headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. He started his career in 1995 at Eidos Interactive and later Hasbro Interactive. During recent years, he headed the marketing departments for online games publishers Mail.ru Games and Infernum.

Loftus knows a lot about how to engage with player communities, solve complex problems, and how to sustain a growing online community. Loftus has already managed Communities for Bigpoint, InnoGames and ProSiebenSat. 1 Media AG. At gamigo, he is responsible for building up a modern Community Management strategy.
