Popular Voxel MMO Trove Grows Fresh New “Spring Fling” Event
Spring Fling 2026
Spring has sprung once again, as publisher gamigo launches the Spring Fling 2026 event for the free-to-play MMORPG Trove. Starting today, Tuesday May 12th, and live until Tuesday May 26th, players will help a dapperly, all-caps talking duck with saving the bees from new enemies, picking up new loot and rewards, and guiding them to their new home.

Stop and smell the flowers; the bee migration needs your help defending them from the hordes of waspiders in their way! Once you hear the quack, you know he’s back — meet Sir Dapper Duckington Esquire in the event area of the Hub to get started on helping the incoming bee migration. Interacting with Sir Dapper Duckington offers up new spring loot needed to complete each new quest.
Use new event-specific “Spring Flingers” from the store to summon bees and defeat the hordes of evil waspiders in Permafrost, Neon City, or the Medieval Highlands. In between quacks, Sir Dapper Duckington explains how players must throw their Spring Flingers at beehives for the chance at rare loot drops; items needed to keep the migration going. Level up by clearing “Waspider Alphas” in bee dungeons to help finish relocating the bee migration to their peaceful new land — just in time for spring.
Key Gameplay Features of Trove:
- Cubular Classes: Cube-kind can be anything they want! Master classes include Knight, Gunslinger, Ice Sage, Dracolyte, and Pirate-with-a-parrot, with awesome abilities ranging from impressive ninja techniques to deliciously yet deadly ice cream crushes
- Infinite and Fully Destructible: Roam through colorful, voxel-based realms, including untamed wilds and worlds made of candy, before using skills to destroy them, one beautiful block at a time
- Imagine It, Build It: Add to the land with all manner of building and crafting options, including a Cornerstone (mobile base), huge Club Worlds, dungeons, dragons, costumes, and even swords made out of bacon
